How do I get there?

Airport

Getting to and from Portland International Airport (PDX) is incredibly easy using public transportation, shuttle, taxi, or car. The airport and the Expo Center are closely located so guests staying at hotels near the airport will have no trouble getting to and from the tournament.

PDX is served by 17 passenger airlines:
Air Canada Jazz
Alaska Airlines
American Airlines
Continental Airlines
Delta Air Lines
Frontier Airlines
Hawaiian Airlines
Horizon Air
JetBlue Airways
Lufthansa
Mexicana
Northwest Airlines
Southwest Airlines
United and United Express
US Airways
find nonstops from your city

PDX now has 3 pubs run by local Portland breweries; Rogue, Widmer, and Laurelwood. So you can have one last taste of that Portland brew-pub beer before your flight home.

Getting to and from the airport:

Public Transportation
The MAX (Metropolitan Area Express), Portland's light rail, will get you to and from the airport, directly to the Expo Center, where the tournament will be held, or to downtown Portland, via the Red Line.

For more information, please watch this MAX video of the Red Line to help you get to and from the airport. Also, please see the map below for an overview.

Shuttle
Blue Star Shuttle has shuttles leaving PDX every half hour, and can be found just outside the baggage claim at island #2. They will stop at any of the hotels on this list for $14 per person.
Green Shuttle
White Van Shuttle will pickup/dropoff for between $15-$25 for the first person, $5 for each additional, within in the city of Portland.

Taxi

You will find a taxi line at PDX but here are some additional numbers just in case:
Broadway Cab
Green Cab
Radio Cab

Other Tidbits

Oregon has no sales tax, so passengers can get all the benefits of duty free without leaving the country.
